Hello, everyone!
This is a jersey I've designed for the Round 7 of the 'Jueves Fantasy' a competition organized by La Casaca, Todo Sobre Camisetas and Marca de Gol. The round required designers to create a home jersey for future MLS team Charlotte FC.
In my version of the jersey, I decided to include a pattern that represents three aspects: a) the Charlotte Branch of the U.S. Mint - Charlotte was the first city in America to have a branch of the Mint - and this is also represented on the club's crest, which feature an inscription that says "Minted 2022". b) the Coin, also a reference to the Charlotte Mint, as well as a nod to the banking industry actively present in the city; c) and the Crown, which, just like in their crest, references the city's nickname, "Queen City".
